The map pack
Why your Google Business Profile matters
If your phone isn't ringing the way it should, your Google listing is a good place to look. Our Google Business Profile optimization is hands-on work on the listing itself, paired with the website it points to, for service businesses across southern NH and north-central MA. We set both up the way Google says it decides, and we keep them that way.
Search "furnace repair near me" or "roofer Manchester NH" and you'll usually see a map with three businesses before any regular results. That block is called the map pack. For a lot of homeowners, it's where the search ends. They see a name, a few photos, some reviews, and they call.
Google says it ranks these local results on three things: relevance (how well your profile matches the search), distance (how far you are from the searcher or the town they named), and prominence (how well known and trusted your business looks, online and off).
Distance is the one nobody can change. Someone searching in Concord may see a different pack than someone in Lowell. So our work goes into the two you can influence: making your profile clearly match the jobs you want, and giving Google good reasons to trust it.

Our rule
Why GBP optimization comes with website SEO
Google looks at the website your profile links to when it decides what your business does and where. If your profile says you do boiler repair in Concord but your site never mentions either one, the profile is making a claim nothing backs up. Service pages and town pages on your site do that backing up.
The two also do different jobs for the customer. The profile and your reviews earn the click. The website turns that click into a call, with the details, prices, and offers that don't belong in the profile.
A profile alone is half the job, so we always do both.
Your Google profile
- Categories and services
- Service area
- Reviews, photos, posts
- Brings the click
Your website
- Service pages
- Service-area and town pages
- Confirms what the profile claims
- Turns the click into a call
We don't sell profile work on its own. See website SEO. Read about local SEO in Nashua, Manchester, Concord, and Lowell.
Local, in person
Meet in person
Ryan is based in Nashua and works with every client directly. You won't be handed off to an account manager. We're a service-area business too, so we don't have a storefront. Ryan meets owners around southern NH and north-central MA, at your shop, your office, or a coffee spot nearby. If video is easier, that works too.
Ryan comes from a software background, so the technical side, such as your site's code, structured data, and settings, gets the same attention as the profile. He'll explain it all in plain English.
What to bring
- Access to your Google Business Profile
- Your website address
- The towns you want to win jobs in
Built on our own profile first
Yellek Solutions is a new business, and we'd rather tell you that than dress it up. We don't have client results to show you yet. So we're doing this work on our own Google Business Profile and website first, using the same steps listed above, and keeping a record of what we do as we go.
When we have real numbers from our own profile, we'll share them. Until then, we'll show you the method and let you judge it.

FAQ
Questions about Google Business Profile optimization
How long does it take to show up higher on Google Maps?
It depends on your trade, how many competitors share your category, and where your profile starts. A listing with the wrong primary category can move sooner once that's fixed. A crowded category takes steady work on reviews, photos, and your website. We won't promise a timeline, because nobody controls Google's results. What we do promise is to track your Maps rankings every month and show you what changed, so you can see the trend for yourself.
Do I need a website if I have a Google Business Profile?
You can have a profile without one, but you're giving up a lot. Google uses the website your profile links to as one way to judge what you do and where. Your service pages and town pages back up the claims your profile makes. A website is also where you can put prices, offers, and a clear "call us" button, which don't belong in the profile itself. That's why we always pair profile work with website SEO.
Should I hide my address if customers don't come to me?
Usually, yes. If you work at customers' homes or job sites, Google treats you as a service-area business. In that case you hide your street address and list the towns you serve instead. Showing a home address as if it were a storefront can break Google's rules and put the listing at risk. If customers do visit you, such as a showroom or shop counter, keeping the address visible can make sense. We'll look at how you actually work and set it up to match.
Can you guarantee a top-3 spot in the map pack?
No, and no one honest can. Google decides the map pack, and it weighs how close the searcher is to you, which no one can change. Anyone who guarantees a top-3 spot is either guessing or doing something that puts your listing at risk. What we can do is make your profile and website as relevant and trustworthy as possible within Google's rules, then track your rankings monthly and keep improving what's in your control.
Why isn't my business showing on Google Maps?
There are a few common reasons. The profile might not be verified, or it might be suspended. The primary category might not match the service people search for. Your service area might leave out the towns where customers are searching. Your name, phone number, or address might not match your website and directory listings. Or competitors closer to the searcher might simply outrank you. The free audit checks each of these and tells you which ones apply to you.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. Ryan is based in Nashua and meets owners in person across southern NH and north-central MA, whether that's at your shop, your office, or a coffee spot nearby. If video is easier for you, that works too. You'll work with Ryan directly from the first call through the ongoing upkeep, not with a rotating account manager. We don't publish a street address, since we're a service-area business ourselves and come to you.
